Katy Jones has a BSN from  the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MSN from Texas Woman’s University.  Katy’s clinical background includes medical-surgical, telemetry and critical  care. She has taught Nursing to BSN students both as an assistant professor and  as a practitioner faculty. Katy has held mid-level management and chief nurse in executive positions in major healthcare systems.

As a former supervisor of LNCs, Katy has reviewed countless resumes, conducted numerous interviews, worked with hundreds of experts, and trained new Legal Nurse Consultants to become top performers. She has taught in the legal nurse consultant program at Florida Risk Management and the Legal Studies Institute continuing education program at Florida International University. She is currently a full time LNC in a Defense firm that specializes in physician medical malpractice cases. Katy is Past President of AALNC's South Florida chapter. She was a reviewer for the third edition of Legal Nurse Consulting: Principles and Practice.
