She also worked as the sole LNC for an Atlanta law firm specializing in nursing home, personal injury, worker’s compensation, and medical malpractice litigation. She currently provides LNC services as a consulting expert to several attorneys specifically in nursing home litigation and medical malpractice.

Rhonda is LNCC certified by the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants and served as the past president of the local Atlanta Chapter of AALNC in 2007 and 2010. She continues to be an active Board member and speaker.

Rhonda also advocates for the nursing profession  as an LNC by speaking to professional legal and nursing organizations about the ositive impact an LNC can have in the medical-legal arena. She strives to ensure appropriate use of medical information, by having a qualified medical professional assist legal clients in understanding and interpreting the complexities of the health care industry.

Most recently, Rhonda serves on the AALNC’s Technology and Education committees, helping to shape the future of nursing education at a national level, and is a vocal advocate of nurses in Georgia’s legislative arena.
